Bogota's History

First of all we start talking about the foundation of Bogota 473 years ago, the foundation was make by Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada in 1538, he construct with soldiers, Indians, Muiscas of Guatavita and artisans 12 houses and a church this place start being our city, first it was named Bacata and later Santa Fe in the colonial times, Bogota was founded a streets near the Baluarte’s hostel.
  Mainly we start talking about the first old places that make our history in Bogota; Bogota had have many construction and territories in which the people consider that were  very important because they are colonial or they have in some way a historical tradition and culture, the center of Bogota is the best place to show our colonial streets and houses with the “Candelaria” and “Santa Fe”, in the center of Bogota we can find also monuments and some others historical places; we can talk about the bolivars main square or “Plaza Mayor de Bolivar” this places have so much time in Bogota in the ages of the foundation and to the actual times, this place is recorded by Simon Bolivar the libertine that start reclaiming for his rights and make history of his dead, this place had been transformed so much times in this place the cars arrive to Santa Fe, and also we can talk about the “tranvia” who was a main way of transport, also we have a main state in the center of the place of Bolivar, with a very important catholic tradition we can also appreciate the church “Capilla de Sagrario” and in the south part the school “san Bartolome mayor” ; then we have the Candelaria which is a church that is very import and representative of the colonials sectors it was make in 1650, this church is located in the 11 street with 3 career with different traditions and art, near this place we can found the school “Augustiniano San Nicolas”; and other important place is the cathedral house or “casa curial de la Catedral” this place is about a palace of cardinals, this place was founded in the colonial times, were habituated Spaniards and kings of the time; later we have a more important place and one of the more popular we have in Bogota it’s the Moserate’s hill or “Cerro de Monserrate” this is a place of pray and peregrination and its so visited by the tourist and capital citizens, this place have a hard way of getting there by walking but we have a main machine named “Teleferico” in which you can see the city and also get into Monserate quickly , this place its popular because its catholic traditions and his view up to the mountains; other places of tradition and religion than we have and are very important are the “Iglesia de la Concepcion” which is a church and “ Iglesias de San Juan de Dios” a church too with and important monument and artistic images; retouring to the subject we have other places than also contribute to the history of our city one of this ones the Santa Clara’s museum which was make in 1619 by an “arzobispo” and its located in the 8 career with 9 street, here we can found some art works, it’s a colorful tone with nice images; later we have the “quinta of Bolivar” that is a national monument in which Simon Bolivar past much of the time in that place ; then we have another place named “Nuestra señora del Carmen “ an avenue of a shrine that is a catholic way of monument very important in the city; in other part we can find and all cemetery named the “ Cementerio Nacional”  were the most important authors in the capital of the colonial times and the independence habituate, most of this people are presidents and rich recognized people; Finally we can named one of the most important and popular places  knew buy many people that is the National museum in which its most part of our tradition and our ancient works, our technology and a interesting planetary, in this museum we can find also the colonial arts and independence ideas ; Finally we can find many history in our city Bogota and the places can be many interesant and also important for learning.
